Child & Adolescent therapy

 Children and teens often experience and express emotions differently than adults. They may struggle with behavior, communication, or managing big feelings, especially during times of change or stress. Therapy provides a supportive space where young clients can better understand their emotions, build coping skills, and feel more confident navigating their daily lives. 

Is therapy right for your child?

This may be a good fit if your child or teen:

  • Is experiencing anxiety, mood changes, or emotional outbursts 
  • Has difficulty managing behavior or following routines 
  • Struggles with school, peers, or social situations 
  • Is going through a major life change or transition 
  • Has difficulty expressing emotions or communicating needs

What Your Child Will Learn

In therapy, your child or teen will:

  • Build emotional awareness and coping skills 
  • Learn how to manage stress and strong emotions 
  • Improve communication and social skills 
  • Develop confidence and problem-solving abilities 
  • Gain tools to handle challenges at home and school

What will therapy look like?

Sessions are tailored to your child’s age, needs, and personality. Therapy may include structured activities, conversation, and skill-building in a way that feels engaging and supportive.


We also work collaboratively with parents to support progress outside of sessions. This may include parent coaching, family sessions, and guidance on how to respond to behaviors, improve communication, and reinforce skills at home.

Support for Parents & Families

We understand that supporting a child or teen can feel overwhelming at times. Parents are not expected to have all the answers, and you don’t have to navigate it alone.


We offer:

  • Parent coaching to support behavior and emotional needs 
  • Family sessions to improve communication and connection 
  • Guidance on implementing strategies at home
