Melissa Flores is a bilingual English and Spanish licensed social worker who has worked with clients of presenting with a wide range of mental health concerns, including but not limited to, depression, mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, PTSD, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. She graduated from Ramapo College of NJ with a Master’s degree in Social work and holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration from The College of NJ.
Working with children, teens, and adults from diverse populations, Melissa has seen clients in various settings to assist with case management, domestic violence, mental/behavioral health, and family therapy. Additionally, she has collaborated with community agencies and is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of those she serves.
Melissa is committed to empowering her clients to lead a happy and fulfilling life. She strives to provide a therapy environment that is conducive to meeting the personal needs of those she works with. Thus, Melissa’s style of practice encompasses strengths-based therapy, motivational interviewing, CBT & ACT techniques, client-centered, and solution-focused therapies.
